GEG and DSAL jointly launched the “Integrated Resort Youth Development Program” to cultivate local talents
The inauguration ceremony of “Integrated Resort Youth Development Program”, jointly launched by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) and The Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region (“DSAL”), was held at Galaxy Macau™. Officiating the ceremony were Wong Chi Hong, Director of DSAL; Lei Lai Keng, Head of Employment Department of DSAL; Cheung Wai, Head of Vocational Training Department of DSAL; Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG; Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of GEG. They witnessed the personal and professional accomplishments of the participating elites.
The Program identified local residents interested in advancing their careers in food and beverage, housekeeping, and VIP hospitality through two job fairs and external promotional activities. The Program provides participants with 300 hours of professional training over a 12-month period, and a wide array of professional certification training opportunities, enabling them to strengthen their competitive advantage and enhance their vertical mobility.
GEG has been proactively supporting and promoting Macau’s talent cultivation, and held more than 30 diverse activities with DSAL to nurture Macau’s future talents this year. Moving forward, GEG will continue to support the Macau SAR Government’s policies on cultivating more local talents and elites in different fields, helping to move forward Macau’s development as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure".
