GEG relaunches U-LEAD Graduate Internship Programme

In support of the internship career experience programme organised by the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, GEG organised the U-LEAD Graduate Internship Programme for the second year. The programme offers a three-month integrated resorts internship to Macau university graduates, including hotel operations, housekeeping, marketing and facilities management, etc. U-LEAD aims at giving participants real world experience needed to develop professional skills, enhance competitiveness, and build a stronger foundation for their future careers.

Explore a new career pathway in GBA

To facilitate youngsters to get a heads start in the Greater Bay Area, K. Wah International has joined forces with The Arete to organise a Mainland workplace culture online sharing session. Over 100 youngsters in Hong Kong participated to learn about the job outlook in the Greater Bay Area from Benjamin Mok, Deputy Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, Francis Yeung, General Manager - Operation (Guangzhou and Dongguan) of KWIH as well as Natalie Yuen, Management Trainee of KWIH.

The sharing session also included a mock interview session, with senior staff of the One K.Wah volunteer team acting as interviewers. This simulation exercise allowed participants to experience the corporate recruitment situation, helping them prepare for future interviews by enhancing their psychological condition and response techniques.

GEG organises property tours for university students in Macau

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) gave students from the Lui Che Woo College of the University of Macau (“UM”) and the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of City University of Macau a tour of its properties. Through visiting various leisure and entertainment facilities in GEG’s properties, participants gained additional insight into the daily operations and developments of large-scale integrated resorts.

Meanwhile, GEG also invited students from UM’s Department of International Integrated Resort Management for a visit to GEG’s F&B operation and arranged for students to meet with F&B representatives. During an interactive sharing session, GEG’s F&B representatives shared their experiences and outlook on the industry in hopes of deepening students’ understanding of the development prospects and inspiring them to plan their future career paths.
