GEG provides warmth to homeless animals at Anima Macau

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) donated MOP400,000 and 200 second-hand pillows to Anima Macau to support their ongoing animal rescue and protection work. The donation of the pillows also added another stage to the useful life of these items and contribute to sustainability. To promote the importance of animal care, GEG Volunteer Team organised three visits to Anima Macau Dog Shelter earlier to take care of the dogs, clean up the shelter and learn about shelter’s daily operations and challenges.

GEG pledges MOP600,000 donation to Tung Sin Tong

Driven by its commitment to give back to the community, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) showed support to Tung Sin Tong for another year by a donation of MOP600,000. Going beyond philanthropic donations, the Tung Sin Tong service introductory booth was set up at the back-of-house areas of Galaxy Macau™ for the first time to promote the spirit of giving among staff.

KWCM signature volunteer programme supports low-income single-parent families

K. Wah Construction Materials (Hong Kong) Limited (“KWCM”) is joining force with Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service to launch a two-year volunteer programme. The kick-off ceremony received overwhelming support from management and staff members which marked the official commencement of this journey.

Supported by KWCM volunteer team which comprises a network of our staff, this programme designs a series of comprehensive activities for low-income single-parent families, including English classes for parents, STEM workshops for children, family outings and “Buddy Scheme” counselling services.

GEG volunteering day with senior citizens at Broadway Food Street

Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG") volunteers had a great day hosting a group of elderly to Broadway Food Street during the annual “One-day Volunteer” event. They enjoyed traditional snacks made by the volunteers, played carnival games, and listened to a nostalgic concert together. All the elderly were given a gift pack with mooncake as a festive celebration.

GEG strengthens staff and public awareness of typhoon disaster prevention and preparedness

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) invited Public Security Police Force and Social Welfare Bureau to introduce civil defence exercise and evacuation plan during typhoon to GEG volunteers. Also, in collaboration with Peng On Tung Tele-Assistant Service Center, our volunteers organised roadshows and home visits to the elderly to enhance their knowledge on disaster prevention and mitigation.

GEG spreads joy among community and team members

Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG") invited 100 members and their parents from the Macau Autism Association and Against Childs Abuse Association Child Protection Centre to visit its title-sponsored exhibition “Hello Kitty Hello Again”. GEG volunteers and the community group members joined hands and decorated their one-of-a-kind denim caps as souvenirs. GEG also distributed 200 free tickets to staff members to enjoy a fun summer vacation together with their families.
