InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong (“ICGS”) has conducted several activities in its “Mental Wellness Programmes” from April to July, including Mindfulness Workshop, Laughter Yoga Exercise, Positive Communication At Work Seminar, Sharing Tips on Self-caring etc. The programme designs to increase employees’ understanding and knowledge of mental health and promote positivity in workplace.
K. Wah Construction Materials (KWCM) beats the heat by delivering watermelons, young coconuts and herbal drinks to frontline colleagues working in hot weather. KWCM Social Club also reminds colleagues to drink water periodically to avoid heat stroke, demonstrating the "One K. Wah" spirit.
K. Wah International (“KWIH”) organised a pastel painting workshop for colleagues and their families to learn the basics of pastel art. Guided by a Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA) certified instructor, participants used simple materials and techniques to create heart-warming works of “Mount Fuji and sakura” and “Outer space and rockets”. The therapeutic art goes a long way in reducing stress and cultivating creativity!
Colleagues from K. Wah Construction Materials (“KWCM”) made their own Japanese plum wine and juice in the “Lunch & Learn Workshop” organised by KWCM social club. Participants then brought the finished products home for sharing with their families.
As part of K. Wah Construction Material (“KWCM”)’s people-oriented corporate social responsibility initiative, KWCM Social Club arranged a pop-up Fleuriste at the office for employees to design their own unique bouquets, and prepared carnations for them on Mother’s Day. As always, KWCM also joined hands with its longstanding CSR partner, Hong Chi Kwong Fuk Wai Yin Workshop Floral Service, for ordering Silk Flower Bags to let colleagues show appreciation and love to their dearest mothers.
K. Wah Construction Materials (“KWCM”) invited teachers from Hong Chi Kwong Fuk Wai Yin Workshop to hold an online floral arrangement class. Colleagues made their own floral decorations with their families to celebrate the festive season.
