(Hong Kong － 27 October 2014)－K. Wah International Holdings Limited (“KWIH” or the "Group") (stock code: 0173) participated in the 40th Sedan Chair Race & Bazaar at the Peak yesterday to raise funds for charities and made a difference to the Hong Kong community. Led by Paddy Lui, Executive Director of KWIH, over 30 staff and their families from the Hong Kong and Guangzhou offices came along and cheered for the participating team.

The staff members of KWIH have always been committed to charitable work and giving back to society. KWIH’s team members showcased their creativity through dressing in bizarre furniture and home appliances costumes, and decorating the sedan chair with reference to the exterior of the iconic K. Wah Centre, the Group’s headquarters in North Point. Embodying the elements of “home” in their costume designs, the team echoed KWIH’s reputation as a quality developer that strives to create a comfortable living environment for their customers through developing exquisite and niche properties.

The Sedan Chair Charities Fund raises money for local charitable organizations through the annual Sedan Chair Race & Bazaar. This year’s competition attracted 48 teams to participate and the fund collected would support over 20 beneficiaries.
