EDGE awarded Architecture MasterPrize 2021

Collaborate with one of the world's leading global architecture and design practices Aedas, K. Wah International’s Shanghai project – EDGE won the “Architectural Design – Mixed Use Architecture” in Architecture MasterPrize 2021. The award recognises design excellence, creativity and innovation in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, architectural product design and architectural photography worldwide.

Dr Lui Che-woo, Francis Lui & Joanna Lui Hickox recognized as Asia’s Most Influential by Tatler Asia

Dr Lui Che-woo, Chairman of K. Wah Group and Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), was named as one of “Asia’s Most Influential 2021” by leading luxury media Tatler Asia for shaping the region through his positive impact. Dr Lui is well-recognized and respected as an enthusiastic philanthropist, who has supported various charity causes such as medical services and education. Determined to “give back to the society from which one has benefited”, Dr Lui set up the LUI Che-woo Prize – Prize for World Civilisation, to honour, recognize and encourage individuals and organisations with significant contributions to world civilisation.

In addition, Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG and Joanna Lui Hickox, Executive Director of the Galaxy Entertainment Group Foundation, also made the Asia’s Most Influential list for their contributions to art, culture and Macau’s entertainment industry.

EDGE recognised as the “Best Mixed-use Development” at MIPIM Asia Awards 2021

EDGE, a Shanghai cultural landmark by K. Wah International (“KWIH”), has scooped the Bronze Award in the “Best Mixed-use Development” category at MIPIM Asia Awards 2021! Known as the “Oscars” in Asia’s real estate industry, the Awards has been honouring the most outstanding and accomplished projects in the region since 2007.

Galaxy Macau scoops MICE China magazine “Best Marketing” Award

Galaxy Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has won the “Best Marketing” award presented by MICE China, a prestigious media in China’s MICE industry. This accolade recognises Galaxy Macau’s professional and innovative marketing campaigns, and its effort to promote diverse travelling and MICE experiences offered by Macau as well as this world-class luxury integrated resort.

KWCM receives the Trusting Partner Award

K. Wah Construction Materials (“KWCM”) received the Trusting Partner Award in the “Trusting Partner Award Ceremony x Good Deed Dating 2021” organised by The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (“ELCHK”). KWCM has collaborated with ELCHK for nearly 20 years to support its social services and charity events. Looking ahead, KWCM will continue to serve the community and those in need with a people-oriented approach, so as to build a harmonious community together.

GEG Team Members Win Three MORS Gold Pin Awards

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) is committed to enriching the experience and horizon of its team members by facilitating their professional development and encouraging them to participate in different competitions. Recently, GEG team members took part in the 2021 Macao Occupational Skills Recognition System (MORS) Gold Pin Competition, and three of them received Gold Pin Award. Mr. Bong Ming Han James, Executive Sous Chef from Galaxy Macau™ and Mr. Lei Wai Cheong, Chef de Cuisine from StarWorld Hotel, garnered the two Gold Pin Awards in the category of Chinese Chef (Cantonese Cuisine). In addition, Mr. Ng Choon Kiat, Executive Sous Chef of Galaxy Macau, also took the Gold Pin Award in the category of Western Chef. This is the 12^th year for GEG’s team members to receive the related awards, which solidified the industry’s recognition of GEG’s high service standards.
