Since entering the mainland Chinese market, K. Wah International (“KWIH”) has long strived to develop innovative and elegant architectural icons, by combining its design expertise with local history and culture. The Group’s premium French-style chateaux “The Palace” and its exquisite commercial project “Palace Lane” located at the heart of Xuhui District in Shanghai are some of the best examples.

Built along Jianguo West Road, the projects are surrounded by cultural sites, former residences of key historical and cultural figures, and a tranquil neighbourhood dotted with tall Chinese parasol trees. KWIH took inspiration from the district’s rich history, and designed “The Palace” in art deco style to emanate classical beauty and glamour. “Palace Lane” took on a similar style in a nod to Via Brera, a famed art street in Milan, Italy, and features a wide range of design brands and concept stores to create a cosmopolitan destination.
