Improving the Nation Through Education

Believing that education is essential for the betterment of society, Chairman Dr Lui Che-woo is particularly concerned with elementary and tertiary education. For years, K. Wah Group has pledged generous donations to educational institutions in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and overseas. In the Mainland, we have supported the Ministry of Education of the PRC to establish and renovate 122 primary and secondary schools, offer financial assistance to students to pursue tertiary education, set up teaching facilities, fund research and facilitate academic exchanges. We have also instituted scholarships for talented Chinese students to further their studies at leading academic institutions abroad.
