Hong Kong, 9 June 2016) –K. Wah Group (the “Group”) formed a dragon boat team to take part in the annual“Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships 2016”held at Stanley Main Beach today, aiming to encourage staff to embrace regular exercise as a choice in leading a healthy lifestyle, enhance workplace cohesion and create a harmonious and delightful work atmosphere. The Group also welcomed participation of family members and friends of its staff to celebrate the fun-filled Dragon Boat Festival together.

The K. Wah Group Dragon Boat Team consists of staff members from the Group’s various businesses, including K. Wah International Holdings Limited (“KWIH”, HKEx: 0173), Stanford Hotels International Holdings Limited and K. Wah Construction Materials (Hong Kong) Limited (“KWCM”). The team’s months of vigorous practice paid off with members showing unrivalled perseverance, tenacity and team spirit at the race. With the cheering of Paddy Lui, Executive Director of KWIH accompanied by colleagues, their family members and friends, the team delivered an outstanding performance.

For the sake of comfort, convenience and great family fun, the Group specially arranged a cruise this year so that staff members, their families and friends and business partners could be able to watch the amazing dragon boat races and gave cheers to the K. Wah Group Dragon Boat Team up close to the racecourse, while they were enjoying delicious food and beverages on board. In addition, coaches were arranged to pick them up from key locations of Hong Kong and Kowloon to Stanley Main Beach. With such an attentive arrangement, the staff and guests alike had a relaxing, yet exciting and meaningful Dragon Boat Festival.
