KWIH's 2008 Annual Report Earns International ARC Awards

(Hong Kong – 27 September 2009) – K. Wah International Holdings Limited's (“KWIH” or “the Group”) (stock code: 173) 2008 Annual Report received Silver award for cover photo/design and Honors award for interior design in the globally recognized 2009 Annual Report Competition (“ARC”). Winning this international accolade for the third time reflects the Group’s unfailing efforts in using annual reports to disseminate KWIH's philosophy and achievements, which contribute to its solid foundation for long term sustainability. The report also reinforces KWIH's corporate image as a renowned integrated property developer and investor in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia.

The ARC Awards was created by New York-based MerComm, Inc. back in 1987 to honor excellence in annual reports as well as promote noteworthy writing and imaginative design. Conducted by a panel of judges comprising professionals from such professions as investor relations, finance, design, photography and journalism, the ARC Awards is globally recognized and considered to be the largest and most prestigious competition in the industry. Appropriately, it is marketed as the “Academy Awards of Annual Reports”.
