GEG Youth Achievement Program

Months earlier, GEG hosted an inauguration ceremony at StarWorld Hotel to commemorate the launch of the Group and the Macau Management Associations’ collaborative "GEG Youth Achievement Program".

GEG internship programmes provide comprehensive leadership training

GEG is committed to the nurturing of local talents and since 2008, GEG has been working with various higher education institutes in offering students a variety of internship programs so that students will have the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a practical work setting. In the first half of 2011, 48 students from various education institutes, including Institute for Tourism Studies, Macau University of Science and Technology, Hotel Institute Montreux and Swiss Hotel Management School, completed the internship program and to congratulate the students, GEG invited the students to Galaxy Macau™ in July and hosted an internship program appreciation ceremony for them.

Galaxy Macau™ sows seeds in talent nurturing

Prior to the grand opening of Galaxy Macau, GEG launched a unique "Galaxy Macau Student Exposure and Experiential Development (SEED) Program" to give local undergraduates the opportunity to participate in the opening of GEG’s massive integrated resort and GEG’s own team members to step into the role of Galaxy Macau Opening Ambassador. To commemorate the hard work and contribution of both the participating students and team members, in July, GEG hosted a special Appreciation Ceremony at Galaxy Macau.

GEG recognises interns with remarkable performance

GEG hosted an appreciation ceremony for 13 interns in January in recognition of their outstanding performance during its internship programme, which allowed them to experience the real-life professionalism. Before the opening of Galaxy Macau™, GEG introduced Galaxy Macau Student Exposure and Experiential Development (“SEED”) Programme to students of local universities. SEED Programme, a 200-hour vocational training and internship experience, offers students valuable opportunities to take part in the preparation of the opening of the project, and a chance to embrace GEG’s Asian Heart philosophy as well as its professionalism.
