GEG wins second runner-up in the Workspace Safety Knowledge Competition

GEG took home a second runner-up in the Macau leg of the 9^th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Safety Knowledge Competition which organized by Macau Labour Affairs Bureau, Administration of Work Safety of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Council. Through the Q&A competition, participants gained a better understanding on occupational safety and relevant laws and regulations. GEG team members also said that it was a very useful experience and gained relevant knowledge from the promotional activities held at GEG.

Stanford Residences Victoria Harbour garners the accolade of “Best Newly Open Serviced Apartment of the Year”

Stanford Residences Victoria Harbour (“SRVH”), the first serviced apartment of K. Wah in Hong Kong, scooped the “Best Newly Open Serviced Apartment of the Year” in “2017 AHF Asia Travel & Hotel Awards”. This award is one of the most influential and credible hotels awards in the Asia-Pacific Region. SRVH officially opened in 2017 and is suited in Tin Hau. Adjacent to the shopping area in Causeway Bay, residents can overlook the breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour while enjoying a wide range of attentive services.

Stanford Hillview Hotel and Stanford Hotel win numerous awards

Stanford Hillview Hotel and Stanford Hotel received “Service Excellence Hotel of the Year 2017″ for consecutive years, awarded by Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao Hotel General Managers Society.  Both hotels also won the prestigious “Certificate of Excellence 2017” presented by TripAdvisor which was based on the consistently great reviews that Stanford Hotels had earned on TripAdvisor. Stanford Hillview Hotel and Stanford Hotel also attained the “HolidayCheck Recommended Certificate of 2017″ as presented by HolidayCheck AG whereas Stanford Hotel received “Loved By Guests Award” by Hotels.com respectively.  All these awards demonstrated the hotels’ commitment in offering excellent hospitality in HK.

KWIH garners outstanding awards for its excellence in people management

K. Wah International Holdings Limited (“KWIH”) is honoured to receive the Employer of Choice Award from JobMarket for two consecutive years as well as the Work-life Balance Award for the first time. The awards fully recognised KWIH’s people-oriented management strategy. Charles Wong, Associate Director of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs; and Babara Lau, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources said three major strategies were used in talents recruitment and people management. And KWIH will continue to keep up with the digital era and bring new changes to communications in the company.

KWIH Shanghai receives 2017 China Human Resources Pioneer Employer Award

The 9^th China Human Resources Pioneer Ceremony was held in Shanghai by Tophr.net, a well-received media in China. K. Wah (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was recognized by the selection panels with the “2017 China Human Resources Pioneer Employer Award”, which demonstrated its achievements in cultivating talents and supporting continuous learning.

Linda Huan, Deputy General Manager – HR & Administration of K. Wah (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was invited to host one of the training forums. She shared the experience in cultivating talents in K. Wah and discussed the current market challenges faced in staff training with participants. Dozens of ideas among different industries were exchanged, which offered new insights for participants.
